Thanks for teaching me about lapper training. My DW helps in the evening collecting eggs and feeding the birds. One of my roo's has taken to atacking her. So I had her give him lapper training. Make no bones, he didn't like it--but he now respects her. Of course he had to reasert his dominence to all the hens... sorry for the spelling issues..

Butternuts. Unlikely that they will survive next winter or possibly even my well water but there is only one way to find out.

Last week I was digging up Russian Olives, Crandall Clove currants and Wood's Roses and giving them away. I still have lots more to give away.

Yeah, Ralphie, lots of Russian Olives, even 2 1/2" caliper trees along with lots and lots of seedlings. Yes there are still lots more that I will either pull out or mow off.
