Since I have not tried placing any more turkey eggs in the incubator (broodies!grrr) I haven't figured out what went wrong with the first Poult. I do remember it was directly beneath the heat lamp. So,was it too cold?Or was it too dumb to realize it was too hot?

This is probably another dumb question but how exactly do the toms kill one another? I haven't seen any behaviour that should kill one.Blunt force trauma??

well I got my 10 bourbon red turkey poults yesterday.... I ordered 10 originally but changed it to 6, the store I bought them from accidentally ordered 10 I felt bad that he ordered them and didn't want the possibility that he couldn't sell the other 4 so I bought the 10... One of the poults is a little different once I got home I noticed it turns it's head to the side (either side) and runs around in circles and run into all the other poults... anyone ever experience this? Is it neurological?
