A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

If he was shooting at Guineas I could understand it, There were times in the past when I was addicted to Guinea ownership where I thought a shotgun would be the best way to round the little monsters up...

Now on day 6 of being guinea free, I am finding my blood pressure dropping, a certain peace has fallen over the farm. Life is good....

Holm, now that you see how Ethel Jr is, you can see I was not exaggerating about how mean and wild my turkeys can be.. Bedtime is like trying to take an egg from Ethel Jr times 24...

Well, you were all right about buying hatching eggs. My cost per chick has turned out to be $4.76 each given the number that hatched. That could go down a bit if the late bloomers survive. On the up side, I now have 42 Rose-Comb Rhode Island White birds... And I'm guessing its the cost of doing business when focusing on critically endangered birds.

Was it R2 or Feedman working on the midgit whites? Are they the same as beltsville whiles: https://livestockconservancy.org/index.php/heritage/internal/beltsville in any case these guys are often helpful when working with endangered genetics: http://www.spnusa.com/certification.html#certified and these orgs might be useful... http://livestockconservancy.org/ind...p-turkeys-international-organizations#Turkeys
