has anyone ever had a turkey with a blue eye. because mine has one and i'm worried that it is a disqualification in 4-h because he is my best turkey.

Not knowing which variety of turkey you have makes it impossible to answer whether or not a blue eye would be a disqualification. White Holland turkeys do come with blue or brown eyes.

As far as color genes go the BBW have the same color genetics as the White Holland. Brown eyes mean it is Bronze based and blue eyes means it is black based.
