Thanks! It was sold to me as a Royal Palm, lol. Of course I didn't know better, and I don't think they own any Sweet Grass, so I think it's a RP cross? It's just a pet, so I don't really care. :D

Looks like a hen to me. It is most likely a recessive gene in the Royal Palms that is showing up. Perhaps the seller has Tri-colors instead of Royal Palms and just did not know any better. In the batch of Royal Palms that I got, I can see one Tri-color in the mix but the rest all look black and white like they are supposed to be.
 
Well, Ralph, I broke the rule... One of my latest hatch was 3/4 zipped with a wing stuck outside the shell and beak out on the other side. So I broke the shell the remaining quarter and spread it out so it could start to move. Only time will tell if it was a good thing or not. Its making a ton of racket right now, so might have been good.:confused:
