A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Sorry about losing the baby Babychicks. Is your Cloe an excessive talker? Annie always has to comment. My slate, Daisy, is so quiet in comparison. Annie will even stand in the middle of my yard & cuss out passing dogs. And if your wearing a hat, she yaps until you take it off. Geez she's opinionated. Quite the drama queen. Daisy is seriously layed back!

Got chicks feet flattened out with band aids. She ate quite a bit of hard boiled egg yolk today. As well as drank water with a little sugar, electrolytes and probiotic packets in it. She is so alert and acts like she wants to get up and go. Just can't because of feet and legs being so weak. Still doing the odd gasps/opening beak at each breath.

Oh also wondered what should it's crop feel like? Yesterday it was full but sort of soft. Could squish it around. Today it was almost empty. Chick is still pooping normal. Could it have worms? Would it be a good idea to de worm it now with it in a weakened state? I'm going by feed store to get any kind of vitamin supplement I can find to help give it a good boost. Is makrel basically the same nutritionally as salmon?
