Ablyn is in love with me. He's totally rediculous. He tries to tread my shoes and snuggles up to me all the time, the goof. If I sit in the yard, he will come dance for me and try treading my shoes. He never pecks or gets aggressive, he's just a big fat wierdo!

Sounds like Ablyn is smitten! I'm sitting out here right before turkey tuck in time. Daisy on my lap. Annie taking a last minute dust bath. Chickens lined up on the bench preening, waiting for their bedtime snack. All is right in the world right now.....

Aww cute duck and poults!

So I’m curious if my incubator will hold high humidity during lockdown so I bought some cheap sponges to add if need be. Will aim for 65%. Getting close! Lockdown starts tomorrow.

I found cheap sponges did not work well for me. I use the good ones (cost way too much)..However, I found a dish rag or wash cloth stuck into the water and then draped over the edge of the water dish did work well.

For some reason the cloth will wick better than a cheap sponge.

Good to know. I have some terry cloth bar towels I can use. I may just buy some aquarium tubing and feed it into the water tray and put it through the turning-cord slot since that gets turned off and I can use a syringe to add water without opening it up.

Adding without opening a foamy is a must..
