A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Annie's Christmas list is easy. BOSS & lots of shoes.

So what's on your birds Christmas lists? Do you give them special Christmas treats? Do animals really talk at the stroke of midnight on Christmas Eve? My parents told me that. Is that just another weird German thing?

I never heard that one before.

My entire flock has banded together and they all want a climate controlled system for the coops and runs. The want all areas to be of a suitable temperature at all times!

ich wisse nicht

Sorry, had to google the spelling...:lau

Aurora....your flock is so practical. Climate controlled coop! Nice!!

So animals talking at midnight...must be another German thing. Grandparents used to threaten to give me to the rag picker if I didnt behave. No idea what that was about either. They are from the Black Forest. Host to most of the Grimm Brothers fairy tales. ..grew up with alot of bizarre folklore.

I wasn't exactly sure what to make of this when I went to close the turkey coop tonight....

Apon further inspection, 4 chicken eggs and a turkey egg were all buried under the feathered dogpile. There were 2 Marans hens and an olive eggers hen all crammed under Pebbles. At least they were staying warm!
