A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Good point Cindy.

I relented and took the girls for a quick walk before bed. We took advantage of a lull in the unrelenting deluge. They were just so unhappy being in their pen all day. They screamed at me when I let the dogs run. Literally screamed! Spoiled brats. I've done this to myself! At least they behave in public!

Apparently, the few days that Penciled had her babies was not enough. She is STILL stubbornly hogging a nest. And tonight, Princess was in there with her. I don't know if she was just laying her egg late or if she's joining Pebbles but if she's joining her already, that's 2/3 of the broody bunch back together. Mary is in the chicken coop with the rest the bourbon reds so the broody bunch can't be completely back together but these girls are killing me!

And here...not even one egg yet! Girls spent most of the day peering in the backdoor. Went & sat on the steps with them awhile. They're so cute. Seriously....little turkey faces are too cute! Had one sitting on either side of me just hanging out.

Aurora...hoping for the broody bunch to raise another baby!

Funny how my turkeys have different habits. As soon as it gets light enough, Daisy hops off the roost & spends a good 10 minutes eating breakfast. Annie stays on the roost & prefers brunch. They are so different.

Rather chilly here. But going to get very cold this weekend. And there is a chance of snow. Not much. Hope it holds off till the weekend when I dont have to go anywhere.

Been holding off mentioning this....but my daffodils are out of the ground & forming buds. Nothing more cheerful than a blooming daffodil after a long winter.
