A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Yeah...I'm done guinea hunting. He's on his own. I warned him. I think he thinks they will end up like my girls if he works with them.
There are people who have tame guineas but they work really hard at it from the time the keets are hatched.
And he really hasn't heard them screaming yet!
The alarm is bad enough but the constant "buckwheating" of hens goes on far longer than the alarm call. If they haven't been "buckwheating" it is possible that he was sold two males.

R2elk...the only time I heard them vocalizing was when they were sitting in a tree. It sounded to me like two different calls. But I have no clue, I only speak turkey. They have been pretty quiet. Maybe it's two boys. I'm just thrilled that we got them! Thus ending everyone contacting me to tell me my turkeys are loose!! Which actually goes to show how cool my neighbors are that so many took the time to report loose "turkeys". And I got to meet a few that normally just drive by & wave.
