This was quickly snapped this morning and not a great shot...notice the snood, & waddle on the mottled. I'm going to try for better pics of "him" this weekend.

Shes getting so pretty! Lots of patterned feathers. And she has a sweet little trill!![]()
Can't say one way or the other. The size difference can be due to Tri-Color Mottleds being naturally bigger than Palms. The snood size you are so concerned about is nothing. If and when it starts expanding by vast amounts and starts being retracted into a cone then you can be concerned. The wattle could be a concern depending on the age. To be honest, I forgot,
I am surprised that even in your convent that you didn't recognize the start of a turkey's beard. Ask @memphis , she knows that even hen turkeys can get beards.
