At what age do the toms need to be split up?

It depends how many hens and toms you have. I only seperate my boys if there's a problem and they're fighting but all of my hens wear saddles at all times so there's very little risk of injury.

Took water to the girls & served them breakfast... they are fine. I have not seen one chicken yet. They may be hibernating!

26 now and falling. steady breeze out of the north at 1mph with gusts to 5. But it's a cold cold breeze.

My turkeys don't seem to mind, the chickens are sleeping in, the aussie dogs are bouncing around....the hound is hiding under his blankie!! My van doors are frozen shut.....

29° here with flurries. The humidity is around 92%. We have about a half inch to an inch of nasty white stuff on the ground. Roads are pretty much clear though. Supposed to be in the teens tonight.

Temperature changes so quickly here. It was 6°F at 1:35 AM and is now 33°F at 6:05 AM.
