Parts of western MD - Grant and Allegany Cos are under the Snow Emergency Plan. Roads closed and power lines down. I'm only getting flurries right now, but the temp is currently 23.4 with a wind chill of 14 degrees - and it's headed south. I'll be lucky to see low 50's by the 19th.Good one Molpet.
Finally got my van doors unfrozen. Never went past 32 today. 19 tonight. Setting weather records all over the place. We'll be in the 60's by the weekend. Wonder if the whole winter will ba a rollercoaster.
Thanks! That’s a relief... it’s too cold to process anything and I’d have to do it anyway (NOT fun) if they started beating one another up. Besides I’m almost out of freezer space. A friend has promised me a chest freezer she doesn’t want (clearing out her parents’ house), but isn’t ready to move it yet.They can be kept together as long as they are not with hens. If hens are involved they should be separated before breeding season. In your area, breeding season should start in February.
