I have a story finally!!

it’s not a turkey one though.

My early hatch lives in the pen closest to the house. They have become almost Turkey like pets. Tweety lives with these chickens.

I have noticed I aM short one or two white legbars in the morning when I let them out.. it’s easy to tell because there are only 2 white chickens in the bunch.

I locked there door and headed to the turkeys. I happen to look at a side fence rail and I have a white legbar roosting on it kind of behind a tree. It’s amazing I saw her.

I told her “no, you don't!” And went to grab her. She flew faster than I grabbed. She ran towards the now closed gate to her pen.

I ran over to open the gate and a SS rooster ran out to greet me. I guess he thought it was morning.

Neither, the legbar nor SS would go through the gate.. as I was chasing them all the other birds decided they were missing something..so out they all came.

I gave up.. hopefully they will all be inside when I lock up again..

Why do birds refuse to go through a door they pass through 10 times a day when you try to chase them through?

frustrating. I might have to make them harnesses and train them @holm25 style, because it’s working so well on Junior...
