A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Romeo is still playing daddy to the babies, even though they're getting big. It's so hard to get a picture. They all come ruining out from under him when i come in lol

All 7 of the turkey eggs I got from you are looking good! My little legbar is still growing and I think most of the marans looked good. Some are too dark to see well
..we rearranged pens today and one of the 4 week? Old turkeys was Not having it little Auburn screamed till my son brought it to me pleading for me to shut it up. Well the little poult curled up on my chest and watched a movie. Quiet as a mouse. Silly bird!

Alicia....nothing better than a movie with your turkey! LOL. I like your son!
Bantambird...love the shot of the baby looking out. I'd be watching a movie with it!
ROMEO!! I wanna a Romeo! Seriously...hes so cool. One of those "special " toms. Now hes the one I'd most want to watch a movie with!!

Shaw....that would be a fun trip! Look out Ralphie...you may end up hosting a group of turkey lovers and coonies!! Hey...we could pick up Fred on the way too. Then load Ralph & head over to R2elks! Anyone else on the way we can pick up? I have a van....lots of room for turkey folk & coonhounds!!

He's so funny! Whenever the poults all leave him to come see me, he has to come over too, make sure they're ok and say hi lol. Then, I guess while I'm "babysitting" he patrols and does his leader of the flock routine lol

Turkeys sure do have their own personalities. Romeo is a good guy. I'd have a tom if I could be guaranteed a Romeo or JJ. I'll just stick with the convent in the meantime!!
It does not matter how well behaved a tom is. you have to do without one in order to save yourself from all the babies that you will fall in love with.

That would be one wild ride there with two coon hounds. . .
But can you imagine the ride home with all the turkeys Ralphie would load into your van? 😂

I'm connected to ralphie via interstate, but it's nearly a day's drive from the middle of Minnesota to the middle of Montana, and then you'd miss our SD girl. I live at the junction of I90 and I94, so it's also a straight shot to visit R2elk for me too. Actually, R2elk is much closer than Ralphie
