As far as I have been able to find, there is only one picture of an adult Cornish Palm hen on the Internet. I have not found any other photos of Cornish palms of any age.

I agree. I couldn’t find any others either when I tried to look.

Hey r2elk, what's the difference between calico and sweetgrass? I had some calicos last year before the sweetgrass were breeder that were backcrossed red bronze tom (burbon red over royal palm) over royal palm or over red bronze(sister)
This year she got sweetgrass poults and she's wondering what the difference between the two us.

Sooo....had the girls out front for a graze. We wandered a few yards down. My neighbor was watching as we trooped down the sidewalk home. His observation was interesting...he thought they walked with an incredible confidence & self importance. Self importance! If he only knew!!

Calicos have the Narragansett gene and a single recessive red gene. Sweetgrass do not have either of those genes. The problem getting a Sweetgrass poult out of a Royal Palm or a Calico is that any male poults made this way will be carrying a hidden recessive Narragansett gene even though they are phenotypically Sweetgrass.
