Guess I shouldn't say old timers because that's me now. Should say alot of poultry folks that gave me advise in past.
A lot of poultry people recommend using ACV simply because someone told them it was a good thing to do. I personally believe it can be harmful. There was a good study on its effects at high temperatures but with all the changes in the Internet in the last few years the link became broken and I have never been able to find it again.
