a chick has hatched but blood is dripping near its left foot

the chick struggling to dry up and bleeding

exact spot where it hatched with the blood stain

I cut away the remainder of the shell and the chick came out straight away but it was bleed heavily, I looked around it and its bleed on its foot im scared that when i was aiding it to get out of the shell i must have injured it looks at my pics please and tell me if this is normal?

Put a dab of flour on the spot of it is still bleeding. It will need time to rest after it stops bleeding. Give a little sugar water and offer scrambled egg when it seems more coordinated.

turns out the blood was just from the membranes in the egg and it did not harm him in anyway, he drying off at the moment.
