Raven took off and started to survey the land. 'I see the healing lake over there. It's just a rumour, and I don't believe it, but it's very salty so you float on it.'

The lake glowed a bright pink in the setting sun.

'I wouldn't call it swimming. It probably doesn't count. The water propels you upwards, even if you try to go under,' he said, banking hard to the right on course for the lake.

Raven started to descend. He was getting ready to land, and eyed a soft patch of sand on the banks of the lake. It glistened a fiery red.
