He crashed headfirst into another bird and it felt like he was crashing into a brick wall. The bird grabbed Fawnpaw while he was dazed and left, the rest trailing behind again
Jade scowled, "Need some help?" called a familiar voice. "I don't want you to get involved, wht if they capture you?" Jade hissed. "Jade, you always worry too much." The other bird responded before flying off, Jade rolled his eyes and they both followed Fawnpaw and the birds.

Jade scowled, "Need some help?" called a familiar voice. "I don't want you to get involved, wht if they capture you?" Jade hissed. "Jade, you always worry too much." The other bird responded before flying off, Jade rolled his eyes and they both followed Fawnpaw and the birds.
They ran quick and effortlessly, darting around boulders and flying over streams. Slowly the distance between them and the following birds got larger
Jade tried his best to keep up, following their path precisely. The other mysterious bird took his own path, he darted and hid in a log, watching which direction they were going before following some more.
They moved as a group, like a flock of birds, each knowing where the other was at all times and changing course together. Suddenly the leader took a sharp left turn and disappeared from view, the rest followed. The following birds lost sight of them.
"Drat!" snapped Jade. The other bird disappeared from sight, "Gold? Where'd you run off to this time?" The bird had hiked up a hill, he could see them all once again, his topaz eyes staring right through the birds as they went. When they kept going, he swooped into a tree right above them.
They ran on, the bird dragging Fawnpaw passed her to another bird when he started to get tired of dragging her. A large mountain loomed in front of them and they ran straight for it. As they got closer the mountain got clearer and they seen what they were looking for, the series of tunnels and holes that made up the mountain. They ran into one of them and took a sharp turn, they ran deeper into the mountain, making it nearly impossible to be found.
Jade tried to follow, but completely lost them. The other bird, who was watching from right above and hopping from tree to tree, slithered through the tunnel and took the sharp turn.
The birds snaked through the tunnels, knowing exactly where they were going. They passed hundreds of small paths, tunnels and holes leading in every which direction. At last they stopped in a well hidden place in the maze and stood completely silent.
