Raven decided to stay seated, keeping a close eye on Brookchick when she caught sigh of him and hopped out of the water, shaking her feathers dry and flying over. 'What on EARTH have you been up to?!' she said in mock horror.
She looked at Olive too. 'I apologise if he's caused you any incovenience.'

She ran off to get some salt-neautralising herbs.

He tentatively reached out and put a wing around her. he was starting to get cold too, and huddling together he knew would keep them warm. 'Or do you want to go underground? Red's fires are nice when it's cold.'

He started to head underground, expecting Olive to follow. He was right - the heat underground did indeed start to dry his feathers out. The salt started to fall off him, and he felt better.
