A chill rooster

My rooster is too aggressive so I'd like to know what breed is the most chill, na aggressive?

A lot of it is a matter of luck, but some breeds are reputed to have gentler roosters.

I've had good luck with a Brahma, a Langshan, and my Australorp avatar.

@Mrs. K has a lot of wisdom to offer when it comes to roosters.

What sort of rooster do you have? What sort of hens?

What do you want out of a rooster?

I have yet to have an aggressive pheonix, but I also cull heavily with aggressive males so they don't reproduce

Not sure what breed he is got him for a friend.

I had a silkie rooster... wouldn't lift his head when a hen squawked... had poor leadership skills... would let me pick him up... often hung around in the nesting boxes... was just a good rooster.
he didn't know how to crow though...
