Alaya saw the burst of flames. She ran to it fast. She got to them and hopped up on a stump. "Are you guys OK?" she asked in a high-pitched squeaky voice.

Skyuka saw the flame, now she was scared! If the humans found them, they'd kill them or worse capture them! She began to howl, but instead doubled over in pain. “NO, not now.”



Aki and fireate took to a dead run and hauled the fawn. The fire had stopped the humans. They were close to the cave but the scent trail was gone. “were is the den?“ fireate said

Alaya said in the squeaky voice that she hated, "Its over there, its over there" She pointed with her small chipmunk hand to the den. "Ill distract the humans" she said.

“let's go!” Aki barked. They finally reached the cave. “Skyuka!” aki called.

“I'm here.” sky cried.
“what's happening?“ fireate asked

“ I'm in labor!” sky screamed

Alaya dashed around the human. it shot at her many times but then she jumped on him and he stopped. She scurried around him fast. She jumped on his shoulder. She turned back into a wolf, then she pinned him to the ground. She looked at him, but didnt have the heart to kill him. Instead she grabbed the gun and ran off, fast.

Aki paced and growled. Snapping at everyone that tried to get close to Sky. He whined and licked her muzzle. “don't give up!” he whispered

After burying the gun in what she could find, she turned back into a chipmunk. She ran to the cave. She morphed back, then walked up to Aki. "Whats wrong with Sky?"
