“What is this!” Aki barked. He tried to tear the plants away. But it was no use, he yowled with frustration.
Sky was about half way down to the forest, when she heard a yelp, the female pup was trying to follow. Sky sighed and jumped back up to the cave. She howled from the cliff.
Aki heard the howl and flashes of Skyuka, and puppies, raced through his mind. He looked up “what happened to me?” he whispered

"You went mad for a while." Shadowheart said, releasing Aki.

“I'm sorry.” he mumbled
He saw Fireate lying on the ground “what can I do to help?” he asked

"I have this under control. You must go to your family." Shadowheart said, picking Fireate up and melting into the shadows.

Aki nudged Alaya. “let's got, Shadowheart can take care of Fireate.” he began limping back to the cave. All the while think about Fireate, could he forgive himself for getting Fireate wounded, would Alaya forgive him.

Aki nudged Alaya. “let's got, Shadowheart can take care of Fireate.” he began limping back to the cave. All the while think about Fireate, could he forgive himself for getting Fireate wounded, would Alaya forgive him.

Alaya walked behind him occasionally helping him when he needed it.

Skyuka yipped when she saw Aki and Alaya emerege from the forest. She lept down to help them “AKI! ALAYA!” she barked “are ya'll alright? What happened? Where's Fireate?”

Alaya didnt talk. She didnt look up. She knew if she talked she would end up yelling at Aki. Instead she just brushed past Sky and went to the den. She went to the back where water trickled. She took a quick sip then layed down and went to bed.

Sky paused to watch Alaya move to the mouth of the cave. She was worried. “Aki?! What happened?” she snapped
“Nothing.” Aki growled “the stupid humans attacked us.”
“where is Fireate?” she challenaged
“With Shadowheart. Where else!” he barked.
“How did they find you?” she asked.
“WHEN ARE YOU GONNA STOP GRILLING ME!” he snarled
She snapped at him and walked back to the den.
