A contest for the duds!

In my layer coop...I have 20+ hens...6 turkey hens....and way too many boys.....


I get one chicken egg and one turkey egg a day...I have no idea how the turkey gets her big butt into the nest. But she does daily..I think the chickens have a rotation schedule with who's turn it is to lay an egg on it.

Lots of protein, plenty of calcium and minimal treats?
I have to rule here with an iron fist. Indoors and out!
Because my DH thinks treats=Love
But love does not =omelets

They free range most days and have layer feed crumbles out all the time. They get Greek yogurt or scrambled eggs a couple times a week. Sometimes they get leftover veggies but not frequently

Thanks! She’s an Easter Egger I got as a day old chick from MPC back in May. We have 2!

I like Gandy so of course i remembered..and it isn't everyday you see a grown man holding a poofy little silkie. So it stuck with me.

I’ve been searching the run, coop, and yard and nothing! Even been checking pelvic bones and vents! The Easter Eggers SHOULD be laying!!

Mine are taking so long I have pretty much stopped looking! I get my one egg a day from the nest box and once in a great while check their hiding spots without any luck.
