Vfem there are total nut jobs on Craigslist. I am about to go post my mobile notary services with an email only - I come to them and I will call them. PERIOD.

My first thought...

If she (and I mean no offense to you, but looking at this in her stuck up eyes) buys her childs clothes through craigslist and accuses you of being horrible for SUPPOSEDLY buying dollar store clothes.... who would be the worse offender?

Like I said, I'm just using her logic (or lack of it) here to point out that she is clothing her kids in hand-me-downs and then saying you are horrible for having "less than" brands!?!?!? WHAT!?!??!

She sounds insane. Her threats wouldn't hold water even IF she did follow through with them. Don't worry. Shake it off.

Oh for sure! Most my clothes (I have no kids... just chickens) are goodwill.

I think she may have got you mixed up. Either way... she is a nut. It never ceases to amaze me how stupid, crazy, intollerent, and rude people can be. I have dealt with simular cases myself as I sell alot on craigslist and ebay. Makes you want to just lock the door and stay inside the rest of your days.

Lodge a complaint with Craigslist, you are being scammed - or at least she's attempting to.

If she's unhappy about the deal - it's her own darn fault for not inspecting the merchandise. That was her choice and she has to live with it. All sales are final and if she's not happy about THAT, she can do what everyone else does - sue!

vfem, my heart so went out to you when I read your post. It is unfortunate that people that are so miserable in their own life try to make others feel as they do. Personally, I wouldnt waste another ounce of energy on someone, something like that, and to submit to her in anyway, whether it be my email, feeling hurt or angry, would just be giving her your power that she sought after to rob you of. Best words of wisdom I can share, Pray that God will bless her and change you. What I mean by changing you, is changing how you allow someone like this to rob your spirit of peace of mind. Keep your chin up, sounds like she was looking for a hand out, not a hand up! I believe what you did for this woman was in complete honesty, so sad that this woman lacks gratitude! I too, will pray for this woman. My thoughts are with you.
