~A Danger Among Us~ Dhole RP

Quote: "Hello?" Marzipan barked again. Where was everyone?
Basil lazily stumbled onto his aching paws and sauntered towards Marzipan. "What?" The elder's voice sliced through the air.
"oh..Hay?" Marzipan said again now wishing he hadn't, but he continued "Who are you?" he asked playfully.
Basil's ears fell flat against his head, teeth sliding into sight. "I see you still act like a puppy," he extended his neck over and pinched Marzipan's side in a surprisingly playful manner.
"uhh...I suppose" Marzipan said really confused now. "Ouch!" he exclaimed as the older dog pinched him, even more confused now.
Basil scowled, "A playful Dhole that doesn't even know how to play? That's a first." Despite his own confusion that bubbled up inside him, he nipped him again. "What do want?" His tone held a more serious edge to it.
Marzipan jumped back this time so that the next nip wouldn't get him.
"I wanted to play...with someone my own age...old dog" he said jokingly!

Basil acted somewhat offended by this and reached over to nip him once again. "How dare you call me old," his muzzle twisted in shock and disappointment. For a brief moment his tail began to wag just to show Marzipan that he knew it was a joke.

Marzipan was now all kinds of confused! "Sorry" he said sincerely but then again not sure of the circumstance. He took another step back as he was really over this nipping thing.
"Don't be sorry," Basil pawed at Marzipan's shoulder before flopping down onto his side. "If you're more interested in speaking with someone your own age than go to Caroline. She's probably at the river."

Tiger's ears sprang backwards, laying flat on top of her head. A bird hovered above her, twittering happily. Tiger pounced, grabbing it by it's tail, but the bird slipped away leaving the young dhole with a mouthful of feathers. "Dumb birds," Tiger hissed as she spat the feathers onto the ground.
Aiden strode towards Tiger somewhat shyly; a gust of wind smacked into his face, making him falter. "Hello," his gaze slid over to the bird that flapped furiously towards a nearby tree.

Tiger whipped around, her eyes blazing. When she realized it was Aiden, she relaxed a bit. "Oh, hey," she replied, scuffling the dirt in front of her with her paw, trying to avoid his gaze.
"Hungry?" Aiden rested his intent gaze on Tiger. His muzzle was smeared with crimson blood; a hunt he participated in had obviously been successful.

"No, not really," she lied, flicking her ear. Tiger sat down, and looked up at him.
"Really?" Aiden dropped onto his haunches.

"Yeah." Tiger swung her head around to nip at an annoying flea in her fur.
"Well, if you decide that you are hungry there are leftovers over at the densite," Aiden informed.
"Ok, thanks," she replied simply.

Quote: ( Are you Caroline as well? )

"Your loss" he said cheekily as he bounded off down to the river.

(Yep!)

Caroline was sprinting alongside the river, her tail wagged ecstatically. Her eyes were locked on a very young deer that tried desperately to outrun the Dhole; Caroline was unrelenting, though.
Marzipan reached the waters edge to see the young dog just up river from him. "Hay!" he called out not noticing the deer around the bend she was chasing.

Caroline skidded to a halt when she lost sight of the fawn. It took her a moment to realize that it vanished into the forest when her attention was drawn towards Marzipan. "Rats," she clicked her tongue and began to trot towards him.

Marzipan saw the annoyed look on the dogs face. His face turned from excited to nervous as she approached.

"You owe me a fawn later!" She tried to hold a firm tone but her attempt rapidly transformed into laughter.

Once again Marzipan was confused....His pup like nature still didn't understand every emotion. "Sorry" he apologized.

Caroline tilted her head to the side, a frown dashed across her muzzle. "I didn't upset you did I?"

"No, I thought I upset you" he said plainly. "do you know Basil?"

"Um, yes," Caroline furrowed her brows then sighed. "He didn't hurt himself again did he?"

"No, if anything he hurt me" Marzipan said as he twitched his furn where the old dog had pinched him. "Do you want to play?" he asked happily.

Caroline chuckled softly and nodded, her tongue lolled out into a dog grin. "Sure," she dropped into a playful bow

Marzipan sprung into the air, tapped her on the head then bonded off over the river calling out "your it!"

Caroline surged forward and raced after him.

Marzipan ran as fast as his legs would take him. He bounded over rocks, crawled under log and darted through the forest. He laughed "Come on Slow poke!" he called out.

"Nope," Clyde lowered his muzzle towards the ground and inhaled.

"I don't like when you yell at me," she stated. "It uncalled for."
"I didn't yell," Griffin corrected.

"Yes you did."
"No, no I didn't," Griffin playfully nipped Spirit's paws.

Spirit laughed. She chewed on his ear.

Aiden picked up his paws and swiftly trotted away. "See you later, Tiger," he crooned.
Tiger followed him, but very silently and cautiously. She didn't want to get caught.
Aiden vanished into the undergrowth.

Spirit laughed. She barked playfully at him.
