Aiden sat outside the den for a few painfully long moments before another bark reached his ears. Hesitantly, he slid into the poorly lit den.

Griffin dropped onto his haunches, his eyes danced as though alive with flames. "Is Bruno back?" He smiled, exposing his bright white teeth.
"No; he's hunting over on Sky pack," Aiden spoke carefully.
Griffin's cruel smile vanished and was quickly replaced with a scowl. "Go get him before Clyde captures him," he forced strength into his voice.
