Substandard care? Wow, who knew? Last year I went for my yearly check up and my doctor was concerned about one of my ovaries. I was in to have an ultrasound within 2 days - that scared the heck out of me. Fortunately, nothing to worry about. Cost to me? Zero. Not one cent.

I actually worry if I get seen by a specialist or have special testing done right away. That tells me that my doctor thinks there is something seriously wrong. I prefer the bottom of the waitlist.

Substandard care is working pretty well for me.

that's like my kids believing that internet, air conditioning, dishnetwork, etc... is free.

My point was no co-pay or have to pay full cost myself.

I pay taxes too. My taxes go to pay for stuff i don't want them to - like the 5 ring circus we are hosting in February. I sure don't begrudge my money going to make sure someone gets the healthcare they need.

You mean it isn't?

I know a lady that claims she can't afford health insurance for her or her kid. But she does manage to afford to own horses, own a dog, have a fairly new truck, have a nice horse trailer, have a cell phone, get cable TV, wear nice clothes, etc. Most of her income is made under the table so she can qualify as "low income." I know she is just happy as pie to have the taxpayers pick up expenses for her. It's dead weight like that causing the debate. People are sick of supporting them.

Ya'll are scaring me...next thing ya'll will be bashing the TOOTH FAIRY!!!!!!!!!! Bring to mind my tooth (I'm really tryin' to take care of it!), will their be an optional "dental" rider that can be added to the free health care plan???
