Yep! Uncle Bob is a Siver Spangled Hamburg according to McMurry. He was our freebie too. They are all 12 weeks old and so far he's the only one crowing. Hope it stays that way. 
He's smaller then all the girls and they kind of push him around instead of letting him pick on them.
He got his name because as I was naming all my chickens, i inadvertantly named a bunch of them after my aunts. When I told my mom, she was insulted that I hadn't named one after her! I didn't want a chicken with my mothers name, so we compromised and named one "Louise", her middle name. When "Silver" turned out to be a boy, my DD didn't think "Silver" was a very good name for a boy, so I suggested "Uncle Bob". She thought that was perfect, so there it is. My mom couldn't wait to call my Uncle Bob and tell him!
