I have also lost 2 Ideal chicks with the same symtoms. Something is not right.

It sure isn't!!! I haven't contacted Ideal yet because it was just the one chick i lost... so far. Has anyone else contacted them to let them know the chicks have issues?

no I havent yet. But I too have only lost one chick!

I got chicks on 10/24 from ideal and also lost one on 10/29. all others seem fine. I did not notice any illness..but got 29 so its hard to keep track of all of them running around at that age.

I've got 24 chicks from Ideal... 10 bantam cochins, and 14 BR or BSL packing peanuts. They are 15 days old today, and all are perfectly healthy and active. We only lost one chick in shipping - a packing peanut, and I think its legs sprattled.
