I would just add, since no one mentioned it, hardware cloth over the windows as they are big enough for a coon to scoot through. Nesting boxes and roost bars and you’d be set.

Just add a lid to you new box to keep the chickens in the right place and then you could collect from the outside.
This particular trailer didn't have a saddle compartment.

Remember, you need ventilation in winter too.I left them long enough so I could put a piece of plexiglass over it during the winter for heat conservation.
