The best of friends,. a friend knew I would love this and sent it to me,. I just had to share with my animal loving friends on BYC.

That guy was kind of an aggressive panhandler.

Don't think he is here in town anymore

He used to display the animals on the street corner pretty much all day everyday

So you saw them in person?
The animals looked well cared for,. what did you think when you saw them.

Santa Barbara is a Mecca for the homeless, warm winters and cool summers and lots of tourists with money in their pockets.

Some are more aggressive in their panhandling than others. (beware the guy doing sand art at the beach)

He usually had water for the animals near by, but they did sit there, to attract people to come look and pay to take a picture with them.


It was not a once and a while display!

I understand,... ,.. but as far as the animals are concerned.. they are adorable,.

They are cute, but people forget how many hours a day/week/month they were required to sit there.

It is cute if you think they just happened to be walking down the street to the park....

Well,.if it's that bad ,. is there nothing that can be done for the animals,. have you reported this to the local humane society?
