Thanks for the update!! Beautiful birdsFor fun, if anyone wanted to see, I have a 10 week update from last week. It was the first 80° F day of the year so the chickens were getting down and dirty and got some hose misting action. ( I didn't take their photos this weekend because it's been dumping snow with highs in the 20s/low 30s here in Montana)
Breve and Trout are turning out to be such handsome roosters and my partridge rocks are both BEAUTIFUL pullets.

Trout is such a handsome Barnevelder, he's been so incredibly slow to grow in his feathers above his tail though. Hope he turns out to be a good rooster, currently he's very timid. Definitely lower in the pecking order than most of the hens.

Doppio remains our smallest and turned out to be a she despite her early comb.

Stark, our other partridge rock hiding under the nesting boxes.

Beignet and Malasada. Malasada is starting to get brown streaking through her tail feathers. You can really see it in the photo below next to Stark.

Dr. Jill. Our other snowy white EE who has splashes of black, the cutest little muffs, and big personality.

Storm, our Super Blue pullet. Was a huge brat, bullying primarily our Barnevelder and Partridge Rock. She spent ten days in solitary confinement and is reformed.

Two photos of Breve, our Super Blue Rooster. Already great at his roosterly duties of keeping order and watching for hawks.
10 more baby chicks incoming this week to round out our spring!!
