please give me some ideas for how to build a duck house. and are duck eggs any good?

They don't need much. A dog house in a chain link kennel will usually do overnight. Mine only went for cover when it went into the single digits.

A roof on the dog run will help deter predators like raccoons and such.

Duck eggs taste better to me than chicken eggs. They make fluffier omletts, baked goods rise higher and lighter with duck eggs, and they have a more 'eggy' flavor - not too strong, but not wimpy-bland like store-bought factory farm eggs.

I like mine cooked in butter, over easy, over a low heat - just till the whites are solid but the yolks are still runny. Add a pinch of salt and some bacon or sausage and raw or sauteed whole green beans or green peas (cooked just enough to make them warm inside) on the side, and you have a perfect breakfast!
