maybe? lol!! how come some chickens are like ..."whoa thats a rooo!" or "shes a pretty pullet" then you got.. the "other" chickens ..which are just "whoa... thats uh.. yeah.. uh.. i dunno!"

x2 and because of the red feathers on the shoulder only males can have that. But a VERY pretty roo!

one of my females has red/ginger feathers on her shoulders,she laid her first egg 2weeks ago???????im confuddled,if shes a he im going to have to swap her again.(/wish i lived with no neighbours.xx

I think that some people have been reading that piece of information about red shoulders, which is more or less true for Easter Eggers, and applying it to other breeds inappropriately.
