These are the best pictures I could get from after her shower. It appears she has one puncture on each side of her neck, and one toward the middle. You can’t see any of them in pictures, I was just able to feel them. We don’t recall her neck being so crooked before though. She’s moving around absolutely normal, and I watched her preen turning her head to both sides, as well as getting lower on her belly. I could tell it was sensitive, but she seemed to have nearly normal range of motion. We have niacin in her water, and her brother (huge support) with her in our laundry room. Any other suggestions?

Maybe some penicillin g as a broad spectrum antibiotic just in case.

I would guess her neck is pretty sore so she might be holding her head oddly because of that. I think it is very positive that she is acting normally otherwise and can preen all regular areas. @A_Fowl_Guy has a good suggestion about the antibiotic, if you can see the punctures you can put some triple antibiotic on them.

Yep. I get mine from our livestock vet but you can definitely get it at a TSC.
.10cc/pound once a day for 3 days. Do not inject into vein. Breast is best.

I got some duramycin-10 at TSC a couple of years ago though I don't see it on their website now.

@A_Fowl_Guy okay...suggestions on giving the injection? I’ve never done anything like that before. It makes me nervous.

Also, should we be concerned about rabies or other diseases like that? Should we be concerned for the rest of our flock?

Draw the injection into the needle and push out until the air is out. Push into breast and draw back on the plunger a small amount then inject into the breast. Birds can’t get rabies.

Or if you can get a powdered antibiotic (Duramycin-10 comes that way0 you dissolve it in their drinking water. Harder to give to just the one bird if not in isolation though.

Okay, much thanks for the suggestions! Right now we have her and one other in our house, so we could use one in water. Maybe we’ll try that first, then go with an injection if needed.
