A-Frame Plans

Does anyone have any plans for an easy-to-make A-frame. I pretty much get the general idea of how the outside should go up, but the inside I am confused about, like where to put the nesting boxes, perches, etc.

I have an Aframe coop, the drawings I found on the web, and we just modified it i.e made it larger and beefier, so it wouild house more chicks and withsand hurricanewinds.
Since I live in Houston TX read HOT, we hade make sure our coop was nice and breezy during the summermonths. We retrofittedthe horsepanel with clear plastic tarp duringthe wintermonths to keep out wind and rain. It worked beautifully, although it didn't look it. Now since the eweather is getting warmer we hav etaken th plasting and simpy rolled it up and used chain to keep it up until it needs to come down again, then we simply unlatch the chain and it rolls out by itself. the "dormer" on the far right side of the coop come down as well, but we keep them up during the day.


On the inside we put the nesting boxes on the "second" floor with a ramp leading up, and on either side of the ramp there are two roosts.
Under the nesting boxes, i.e on forst floor we have the backdoor that leads out to their run as well as a small "box" I made for brooding mamas, except the one we just had, didn't like it at all, so it has not been used yet.

Yes I do have more pics, but for some reason it says that I don't have it in the right format when I upload on BYC, but give me time I will figure it out.
The panels are called horse panels, and I want to say my hubby got them from TSC, pricey, but with four tenatious dogs, and other potential predator threats we didn't want to take any chances.
I got the plans of the wbsite called self-sufficient-life.com, and that is how they spell it, I believe(?).
In the pic that i posted I am basically standing right insaide the "frontdoor", we made ours larger and taller than the description said, ours is 8' wide x 14' long, and in the center it stands well over 7' tall on the inside. We have 5 nestingboxes at tthe "bottom" of the picture, they are roughly 15"x 15".
we have a run attached that is 10' wide x 20' long. We currently have 6 pullets ( about to be hens), but we have 12 more in the brooder, so it will be a full house once it is fully occupied.
I am currently trying to upload more pics, as soon as I can get it to work I will post them.

I am desparately trying to post pics, but haven't gotten it to work yet. Today I will take a new batch of pics and retry posting them.

I will take pics of front, back and side. Is there anything else you would like to see? If so, let me know and I will post those pics as well.

I have had a similar problem when uploading pictures. One will load perfectly and the next, taken with the same camera, on the same computer says wrong format. Paying attention to this thread for two reasons......1. love the coop and 2. maybe we will get our picture problem solved. Carolyn

I hope you can figure out the posting problem, but if not thats ok too. How sweet of you to take more pics. It is a lovely set up you have.
