I live in a small town were everyone knows everyone. Myself and my friend do fostercare. (we take the children with mental health problems) Well one day I was at my girlfriends home and her foster son (13) was trying to jump from a tree. He wanted to kill himself. So we called 911. She went out back, while I went out front to flag the officers down. The first officer (new one) get to the scene. I explain to him that we need an ambulance and why. The officer tells me that is his call to make and not to tell him how to do his job. So I directed him to the backyard. Then another officer (one we have dealt with a lot) shows up. Talk to him. He calls the ambulance and then we walk out back. At this point the boy came out of the tree, found a shovel and was chasing to officer (new one) around the backyard, trying to hit him in the head. At this point we are all laughing and I yell do you want up to call for an ambulance or is that still your call to make. Then the ambulance shows up with a friend mine on the crew. So he hugged me and to officer got mad because he felt that the child should be taken away. The emt (myfreind) stated that patient is fine now we have him tied up.

The funny thing is that happen about 6 years ago. I work in the school in town. This same officer (new one) now does the DARE progam. I see him every week. All I can do is laugh behind his back about this day. My coworkers finally asked why I always laugh around him. So now no one can be serious around him now. We all laugh.
