A grazing garden for the chickens

I don't know how you could let chickens in your garden and keep it looking like one. I given my garden over to the chickens at the end of the growning season and in a week it looks like a lunar landscape.

Opa, Yes I agree. I would no more let the girls in my garden than the man in the moon scape. I decide when and how much they get. I always plant my garden with them in mind...EXTRA

I am going to plant some Sunflowers and Flax in the side yard by the coop. I think I'll add lots of Swiss Chard now. I let them out to play in the yard for an hour or two when I get home. I think they will enjoy the "chicken garden" idea.

Mother Earth Magazine has some wonderful ideas this month for alot of garden veggies for poultry....I know you can find it online free under there magazine
