A Hawk on Our Coop (pics)

We have hawks around so I strung up pretty metal wind chimes on wires and then a few pieces of aluminum foil on some wire and no more hawks! They sit WAAY up in the trees and holler, but no more swooping down on my girls!

I strung fishing line(back & forth)across the top of the fenced in chicken run.So far,the hawks haven't been trying to swoop down on the chickens. They string fishing line down from the balconies at the hotels on the beach , in Hilton Head,S.C. It keeps the sea gulls from pooping all over the place.Hopefully, it works to keep the chickens safe...
