A hen that crows

Yes. After about twenty cumulative years of owning chickens, today, one of my silver seabright HENS jumped up on the lifetime gate and squalked out a crow.
I am stunned. It was the er-er errrrr pattern. She must have really had fun with it because she continued to do it for another five minutes or so. YES she is a HEN.
This is so funny. I love her spirit but...? really?

that is amazing. my dominant hen makes some really loud and weird cackles but i've never gotten an honest to goodness crow. awesome.

I've had one of my hens crow. She hasn't done it in a long time, and it was kind of a sad crow, but she tried for a couple years.
