Cave's original reaction to the sudden show of dominance was to retaliate. Her hackles bristled and she bared her teeth, but she knew that fighting her now would be pointless, especially since she had helped them cross the river.
"And you need to get back to your camp," Cave growled dryly. "She'll be cared for."

Flame flashed Cave a cold look, her hackle's bristling angerly.

"Stop!" Squrrielflight hissed, her face twisted under the weight of Hollyshadow and the pain in her rib's."This is not a time to fight."She rasped." Cave, Look at us. Are we in any state to stand alone?" She questioned, almost challenging to the Shedog." Let Flame help us."

Cave glanced surprisedly back at Squirrelflight. "She ordered us to get her to our healer," she growled, though there was a note of confusion in her tone. "Why would we not take her to Breeze? She doesn't have the authority or need to tell us that."

Squrielflight took a deep breath in, every breath felt like thorns plumiting her. She set the half countious Hollyshadow on the ground."Shut up, Cave! Is it your authority to tell her what to do? Are you her Alpha, Are you her Beta? Because last time I checked her Alpha is dead"She growled.
(I'm actually really laughing hard right now because of how much Squrrelflight has changed.)

Cave felt a rush of adrenaline pound through her head, and her eyes squinted shut involuntarily. "She's a Sirius forsaken coyo- Rip packer!" She hissed under her breath, catching herself when she remembered that Birch was half coyote. "She's one if your many enemies, she's inside our borders, and I couldn't care less what rank she holds unless she belongs to River pack," she muttered. Still, she turned to Flame, courteously dipping her head. "I appreciate you helping us get her across, but we can take it from here," she woofed, glancing deliberately back at Squirrelflight.

Squrrielflight lowered her head, her Kip's where drawn back in a snarl. She let out a growl." No matter what rank, No matter what age, No matter what pack, what strength, what hope, what belief or what health, Cave, We need help." she snarled, her ear's pinned against her head in pain as she crouched, barley able to stand." SO LET HER HELP US!" Squrrielflight howled.

Flame narrowed her she's at Cave, her hackle's flared." Enough." She snarled, her voice calmer then Squrrielflight's." The wolf is right, You need help."

Cave shook herself, flinging the last of the water on her pelt on everything near her. "Ok then. What could she help us with, Squirrelflight. There isn't anything! We're back in our own territory now, and she needs to go help her own pack." She ended her sentence with a meaningful glare at Flame. "I already said, I am genuinely grateful for her help in getting Birch across the river, I really am, but there isn't anything more she can do."
