>~* A Howl At Midnight>~* A FORGOTTEN DOGS ROLEPLAY!

Redfeather got annoyed as his wet fur froze into weird angles. Cheese Grits was bothered too.
(10/10 :lau :thumbsup)

(Lol why is there a dog named Cheese Grits?)

(For the same reason there's a parody thread - but CG was already pretty established in the (mostly) serious part of AHAM, so he stayed. :gig

(River)
Raksha slid up out of the water, her black pelt reflecting the moonlight in an almost mirror-like glow. She shivered madly, her steps stiff as she crawled up the bank. A quiet groan escaped her, but she said nothing. She had been through worse, and she knew it.

~

Cave paced anxiously on the edge of the beach, waiting impatiently for the rest of the pack to get across. She glanced towards the direction of camp; the direction of her warm nest, of food, shelter from this driving, winter wind. In this moment's distraction, she misplaced her delicate paw, stabbing her pad on a small, wickedly pointed thorn. "Ouch," she snapped to herself, casting her gaze back towards her pack.
Hawk was in a daze,
Raksha shook as if the whole Earth was quaking,
Birch was on the verge of panic...

She had no reason to fuss over a simple thorn.

~

Starpup sat in a small hollow between the roots of an ancient oak, watching silently as her packmates - her saviors - tried to pull themselves together. She pleaded with Sirius to let them all emerge from the river, her heart aching with an unspoken love for these dogs.

Yet, to her dismay, many remained unaccounted for.

Birch snapped her eyes open, wider then ever. She glanced behind her, and saw Flame. Her gaze only reliaxed slightly, and she scrambled to sit up, her lungs heaving as she drew in air, her breath ragged with pain."Where's Ash...And...." She dog looked around, her head dizzy as she struggled to remain consciousness."R-Rashka." She called out the the shivering Shedog."Are....Are y-you ok?" The white Shedog was shivering as she leaned against Flame.

Flame easily supported her half-sister's weight, Making sure to keep the Alpha stable.

Raksha turned to face Birch, her stiff muscles protesting to any and all movement. She stepped closer before she spoke, so she didn't have to project her voice any louder than she had to.
"I'm probably not," she murmured, her teeth clattering, "but let's just say that I am."
