>~* A Howl At Midnight>~* A FORGOTTEN DOGS ROLEPLAY!

Swift's eyes widened. She whipped around to look at Autumn, all tiredness forgotten. "We have to do something! It's bad enough that we've lost Windsong, we don't want the rest of the pack drowning!" She looked back at Hawk. "Lead me to the river!"(because I have no idea where it is). Swift was worried for her packmates. We can't let them die.
(I literally have no clue what's going on, so forgive me if I get something wrong)
(So. All of these dogs just crossed the river that divides the four territories in the middle of the night, half of them with mortal injuries, and now a random squall comes out of nowhere. 10/10, right? :D Windsong, an elder, just up and disappeared. Her daughter's gathered a few loyal dogs without injury to look for her. Hawk, being a realist, suspects she's long dead. (Which she is.) So yeah. Basically we're running around at 3AM in the middle of a hurricane looking for a dead body that nobody thinks is dead. :3)
Hawk looked dryly at Swift. "Yeah, right. I can totally do that. Especially with a knotted tendon." With a growl at everyone around him's seeming ignorance, Hawk lurched backward and began tripping away toward camp. Might as well make myself useful and dress a few wounds while our sagacious medicine dog is out suicidal diving.

Autumn sneered after Hawk with utter disapproval. "Trust him to be a heap of catdung at a time like this," she snarled contemptously, just loud enough for his retreating ears to pick up. She exchanged a glance with Swift and bounded forward with a purposeful leap. "You ready?"

Breeze perked her ears in agreement, and reared up on her back legs before lunging into another canter. She made sure to keep her stride in check this time though, and Breeze bounded along the battered beach with liquid grace. It could've carried her only Sirius knows how far...
She reigned herself in slightly as she passed where she'd stopped before, eyes- the powerful vision she'd inherited from Windsong, of all things- narrowed into keen sensories that swept the shore before her for anything besides water.
Water. That horrible, heartless water.
Breeze shivered with loathing. This water was the root of everything amiss. It'd allowed them to cross in the first place. If it supplied them with so much life, why couldn't it have kicked up a squall before they'd journeyed to the opposing lands of destruction?! And, now, it'd chosen to turn into a formidable opponent just when they'd all had enough defeat. Perhaps it'd had enough of them drinking from it and quenching their thirst. Perhaps it wanted to rid of everything that stole and wasted its lifeblood. Perhaps it simply had malign intent laced into its flooded heart, just as every other being and element alike.
Breeze let out another wailing scream of helpless anger and slammed her paws down in the uselessly spawned rivelets that the water had thrown aside. She spat a few flavorful curses at the river as if it were a being with ears to be scorched before contributing forward, only to be suddenly thrown backward by a rebellious wind.
This whole star-forsaken earth is against me.
Squrrielflight skidded to a halt beside Breeze. The Shedog was suddenly jolted back, falling backward against a strong wind. Squrrielflight narrowed her eyes, her ears flat on her head against the rain and Wind."Are you ok, Breeze?" She howled, digging her claws in to avoid getting thrown back into the river.

(R u gonna fill meh in on everyting)
(Okay, so.
They're four packs- River, Rip, Storm, and Canyon. Rip is coyotes, Storm is wolves, Canyon is dogs, and River's a good mix.
A massive river divides the territories in half. River & Storm share a border, while Canyon & Rip share a border on the opposite side of the water.
The former Alpha of River Pack had a heart murmur nobody knew about, and after a ton of stress, she died during a freaky howling raid from Storm Pack.
The Beta of Storm Pack, Tempest, had been recently murdered by a rogue, although everybody's blaming River Pack.
Rip Pack had a trio of scheming anarchists within its ranks, and one of them kidnapped a pup from Canyon Pack.
So everybody's up in arms and hating each other, so naturally, this massive war ensues.
A bunch of canines die, it's revealed that the new River Alpha is actually half coyote, Dark Storm the Storm Alpha dies, so does Cinder the Rip Alpha, and so does the Canyon Alpha. So basically a massive leadership turnover. The coyote beta, now Rip Alpha, turns around and kills his mate's best friend in order to murder a pup to crown himself with terrified reverance. Bla Bla Bla more drama.
So, now, it's the middle of the night after the war and everybody's coming home half dead. River Pack crosses the river and this random hurricane kicks up for convenient intensity. Storm Pack is still over on the Rip Pack shore fighting amongst themselves over who's leading them home. Canyon Pack's back in camp screaming at each other for for getting to find one missing puppy and the outcasts from Rip Pack have returned with the aforementioned missing child, so everybody there is internally conflicted.
Back in River, Somebody's grandma drowns, but nobody knows it, and the dogs that are healthy enough are freaking out trying to find her. 75% of the River Pack dogs are back in their camp bleeding out their lives while they await their healer to cone to her senses that her ancient mother is, in fact, very drowned.
Basically, everything can be summed up as chaos.

Breeze's eyes were forced shut by the sudden influx of resistance battering upon her face. "I'm fiiiiiiiine," she yelled, not even sure if Squirrelflight could hear her above the wind. "But we've got to get more heeeeelp. This isn't going to end well for us even if we're out heeeeeere much looooongeeeer."
