Lily pricked her ears, she heard a faint yell and bounded out of her den. She saw Stream and gasped, she raced forward and then realized she weighed 6 pounds. I'll just have to treat her here, she'll be dead by the time I drag her to my den. she thought and bounded back to her den. Fetching cobwebs, comfrey, goldenrod, horsetail for bleeding, poppy seeds, and marigold, she kept dropping things since she was half a foot tall and had a small mouth, but made it over as quick as she could. The little dog applied some of the cobwebs to soak up the blood, removed them, gave Stream two poppy seeds, then made a pulp and applied the comfrey, goldenrod and horsetail.

Duskypup managed a chuckle at her friend, who in all reality was more like a sister.
Duskypup looked over and saw Dotpup, eyes wild with fear, quickly backing up from the wall of the den. She stood up, waiting for something to jump out of the thick barrier. "You okay?" she queried.

Brindlepup slipped quickly out of the den, suddenly nervous at how much closer the fight seemed without the den wall standing between it and her. She looked around for an opponent small enough for her to handle.

Coal's eyes slid icily around the battleground, looking for another dog to fight....
...to kill...
That wouldn't be easy. She noticed a massive, white coyote-looking dog with thick fur, but just past him sat...
"A pup!"
A pup! A pup that she could kill as payment to the dog who took Dotpup!
Her elegant, yet ultimately massive head settled just below her shoulders and she stalked forward. Casually she cast a glance to her right and spotted Sunrise. She vaguely remembered the red-orange dog helping her dispatch her first kill, and decided that assistance from another dog would make killing the innocent pup so much more unfair than it already would be. "Sunrise!" she barked sharply, carrying her voice over the barks and snarls of war to the other dog's ears. "Here" she growled, nodding towards the pup.

Reed kicked River away from him and jumped over her, then attacked from behind. (#notQUITEasboringpost)

Hawkeye stared after Stream, not even trying to pursue her. He knew he had won, and he had no intent to kill anyone if he didn't have to. He then turned back toward the battle and looked for a new opponent.

Streak almost fell, but right before he hit the ground he sprang up using his front legs and whirled around, snapping at Shadow.

Scar's teeth met with Riptide's shoulder, and she violently began scratching him with her claws. YOU WILL PAY FOR KILLING MY DAUGHTER!

Shadow stood four-swuare with her head lowered beneath her shoulders. She bared her teeth and watched Streak circle.


Coal grinned malignantly and turned her eerie golden gaze back to the dark colored pup. "She has an interesting color.... Almost like a brindle coyote...." she observed silently. "She almost doesnt look like a Rip pack dog..... No matter. Tonight she dies." she resolved.

Brindlepup looked around nervously, then began to slink around the edge of the belle's den. She paused and looked up to see if any dog had seen her.
A pair of cold yellow eyes swimming in a sea of bloody black fur met hers and did not move.
Brindlepup stood statue still, desperately thinking of what to do.
The original set of eyes were joined by yet another pair of blood thirsty eyes. They moved toward her.
Slowly
In perfect sync
Their intention was killing, and Brindlepup knew it.

Shadow allowed her eyes to drift just past Streak for a heartbeat.
She froze.
Cold terror settled around her heart like a snake.

Reed pushed River away from him. "What do ya say we both go find a new opponent. We've been fighting each other this whole ti-"
He glimpsed the huge black she dog who had pursued him through Canyon pack territory with Dotpup. He remembered her anger... The wild fear... The bitter hatred that seemed to flow from her in waves. He noted her ridgid hunter's crouch and tracked her gaze out of curiousity.
His stomach felt as if it had collapsed under the sudden pressure of fear that pushed at the back of his throat. He heard River throw some kind of insult at him, but he couldnt hear her over the blood roaring in his ears. "You win" he breathed, slowly, stiffly moving towards the huge dog.
Then he realized what she was doing.
She wanted to make him pay for kidnapping that pup!
She wanted the pup!
"She wants that stupid pup, she can have her."

Streak almost lunged at Shadow, but then he decided to see what had caught her attention. He saw Coal and Sunrise slowly advancing toward the pup. What is that pup doing?! It's going to be killed! he thought angrily. Coal was ruthless in battle, and he knew that she would kill as many coyotes as she could. Stupid pup! he thought, desperately hoping that the pup would just run away from the fight.

Sunrise slid toward Brindlepup she bared her fangs and snarled she was close now she ran forward "For Dotpup" she rammed into Brindlepup sunrise sank her fangs into her rump

"Wait" Coal growled. Pushing Sunrise away. She locked eyes with the pup for a long, drawn out moment. "The coyote who took Dotpup.
He needs to see her die."

Reed slowly slunk into the belle's den. "Pup" he barked, keeping his voice low despite the clamor outside. He reached down and grabbed the young pup's scruff roughly, anger at the wolf dog for cornering his daughter erasing any and all rationality from his mind.

Shadow crept forward, past Streak, towards the the two dogs. She jumped forward a stride as the slightly smaller dog pounced on her pup, then relaxed as the black she dog pushed her back. "I'll kill her" she growled, to no one in particular. "I'll kill any dog who dares lay a tooth on my daughter."
