~Owl jumped backward, glaring with deadly intensity. Blood pooled down her left flank and her back leg hung pretty much useless at its current state. "You surprise me, dog," she snarled, her eyed at the same time scanning his stance for weakness. "I never expected such a backlash."~

Shadow forced her shoulder and leg to go limp, avoiding any damage to them. She grabbed Streak by the back of the neck and flung him away from her.

Scar yelped and turned around, snapping wildly at Sunrise's neck. Then she suddenly stiffened. Scar had scented death, intermingled with Killdeer's scent. No.... My pup... Scar suddenly raced toward the scent, and saw Rip-Tide and Killdeer's body. "YOU. KILLED. MY. PUP!" she screeched and charged at Rip-Tide with the intent to kill.

Her eyes snapped back to a Storm Packer, who seemed to be waiting for something. She stalked forward, feigning her direction to be yielding to the left, but all the while keeping a constant eye on the wolf. Abruptly, she spun on her haunches and sprung forward, adeptly landing a bite in his impossibly thick scruff and hurling him backward along with herself.~ (She's going for Hawkeye, @RoostersAreAwesome. ;) )

~Stream unhooked Hawkeye's scruff from her jaws, ripping some fur away with her teeth, and scrabbled backward, forgetting that a bite there would leave her own flank vulnerable. She crouched, feigning a low slide, and waited for Hawkeye to betray his next move.~

Hawkeye crouched, low to the ground. He bared his teeth in a challenge to Stream, a low growl in his throat. He heard a loud yelp and was distracted for a split second as he looked to the source of the sound.

~Stream seized the ostentatious opportunity, and darted forward, latching her jaws again on the side of his neck, flinging her body weight against him in an attempt to throw him off balance. Her claws scrabbled strongly in the dust with the effort of hauling a weight almost twice that of her own slender frame.~
