>~* A Howl At Midnight>~* A FORGOTTEN DOGS ROLEPLAY!

(Storm) Cheese Grits smiled. Mud splashed across his face. Redfeather had finally moved on, high in suspicion. Quietly Cheese Grits started to run. He enjoyed the rain and the mud now. They had to be better than battle. He splashed (Heavens Dog) in the face. "Sorry," he mumbled.

[Everybody is now on their respective territory and pretty much in bed for convenience.
Except for the Windsong mess.]
Ivypup glared contemptuously as Cheese Grits carelessly decorated her face with mud in his awkward scrabble up the incline that dipped into their camp. "Save it, cat-paws," she snapped and roughly shouldered her way past him. As she heaved herself past the nuisance, it was only them she realized just how large she really was. Much taller than that irksome Cheese Grits, for certain. She wouldn't be towering above Eon anytime, but still.
I'm no pup anymore. Ha.
And now they can't treat me like one.

(PLZ NO CHATTING. WE WERE DOING SO WELL.)

Flame glanced back at her sister, who was twitching in her sleep."I don't know Dark." She whispered, swinging her narrowed face to look at the Shedog again."All I know is that now they Dark Storm and Cinder are dead..."She gulped, Her tail quivering at the names of the deceased wolves."The packs should be at peace." The word should slowly slipped from her muzzle.
"Hopefully." Was all Dark said.
"Dark?"
"Graypup? What is it?"
She turned her head to the he-pup. "Do you know where Night went? He bumped into you and said something then after you left I saw he run off..."
Dark`s fur bristled in worry. "He ran off? In this storm?" She paused. "I- I wasn`t really listening..." Her voice drifted off. "But he was acting weird. Afraid, maybe. Or even excited... Maybe both..."

Cheese Grits rolled his eyes, raising folds of skin on his forehead and showing the whites of his eyes, looking quite odd. It was a long day, growing up. He padded very slowly to his den, avoiding the mess fairly successfully.
~~~
Redfeather stood and watched the camp, to help in case there was any further business to carry out. The rain was slowing now/or it stopped/or is falling in sheets? It was still damp however.
{Rip} Jade rolled in her sleep because she is now in camp or something. (Plz don't kill me for posting this)
The very temperamental and non-conforming weather had recently decided to add some thunder into the lovely tumultuous snow hurricane mess. Ivypup looked at Cheese Grits with a mild disgust, then turned away as she began to drag her sodden body across the sodden camp. The wind had broken many large branches as though they were mere stalks of grass to be snapped from the earth, and picking one's way across the camp was appearing to be a very strenuous task indeed. "I'd take Rip's bloodstained fields over this any day," she muttered to no one in particular. Her lips peeled back in disgust when she set foot in something of a fault of quickmud near the belles' den and quickly recoiled. Let's just hope Eon doesn't decide impromptu spring cleaning is more important than sleep.
And Sirius forbide she makes us sit vigil for the fallen now or any of that carp.
(@Flufferes- does she? :D)
(Rip)
Calamitypu remained in the middle of the pretty much ruined camp, freakishly motionless as if she were locked in a dreamless sleep- yet her eyes were wide open and fixed on absolutely nothing.
~~~~~

Jasper sat outside of his den, head bowed in a reverence not to any one being or even abstract emotion in particular. Opal's soft snores filtered outside, yet he had no desire to be denning beside his mate at this current mental state.

Brindlepup crept over and sat beside Calamitypu, just far enough away that their fur didn't touch. She had never felt this conflicted before; between pride for her father and his new position, the most terrible, confused grief of loosing her mother to no dog knew what, and pity for Calamitypu... Rather than try and comfort her friend, she simply sat beside her, watching the rain pound the earth while she slowly got her thoughts in order.

Calamitypu's ear twitched as Brindlepup approached. She didn't feel a need to verbally aknowledge her at the moment, and yet the dreadful devoid silence nurtured by her lonely vigil had extended far long enough. "Well..."
Then speaking suddenly appealed as the horrid idea it really was. Her voice caught and her head bowed, a rogue tear slipping to the disturbed dirt along with the half-frozen torrent.

Calamitypu's single word brought Brindlepup out of the maze of her mind. She quickly scooted over closer to the younger pup and gave her ear a gentle lick. "You don't have to talk," she murmured comfortingly. Her smooth tone surprised her; every syllable, she felt as if her throat was going to collapse on itself.
