>~* A Howl At Midnight>~* A FORGOTTEN DOGS ROLEPLAY!

"G'morning Alpha", Shadowfoot spoke his voice still raspy, "No I don't think so... We should though, he's starting to stink."
Eon dismissed his greeting and got straight to the point. "I would think so, how about you round up all the wolves that want to see their former tyrant buried, and have the hunters that don't want to come go hunt something down so that they arent wasting their time." She began. "I'll be sitting here when you're done." She sat down and her tail brushed against the damp ground.

Shadowfoot pulled out his "How to Beta" pamphlet"

Shadowfoot nodded and stalked into the center of camp. "Listen up you fleabitten mongrels, Alpha wants us to bury Dark Storm...", Shadowfoot snapped swiftly, "That is, whoever wants to see him buried." He turned to look Kestrel square in the eyes, "You. Go lead a hunting patrol so we have something to eat. I'd like to go out fighting, not from starvation thank you very much."

Kestrel jumped into a position facing Shadowfoot. "Yes, Beta." He barked submissively, his head respectively lowered. Once He directed his attention to other dogs Kestrel looked back at Ivypup and walked off, but not before giving her a little wack in the face with his tail as a smirk dressed his face.
He walked at a bit of a slow pace so that Ivypup had time to react.

Eon skimmed through the pages of her "How to be an alpha" hand-guide and

Eon was laying flat on her belly, fidgeting with a pinecone that had fallen from one of the mighty towering conifers that rooted themselves around camp. She caught sight of Shadowfoot and huffed. Getting up on all fours, she stretched her legs and let out a yawn, proceeding to hop off the Reign Rock. Sauntering up to him, Eon asked "Do you know if anyone buried Dark Storm last night?"

Kestrel squinted in challenging manner. His fur bristled and his ears were pointed upward nonchalantly. He leaned forward and looked her in the eyes. "How about you run along now and go dye a lock of your pretty fur bright red in your enemies' blood and drape it over your eyes like a curtain you self-absorbed little pup who never got her name because she wasn't important enough and never will be." He stated plainly.

Ivypup neatly slid alongside Kestrel, becoming nothing more than his unusually proximal shadow. "You, me, outside camp at dusk," she hissed smoothly, pointedly angling her muzzle into his ear as he trotted into the shadows of the forest. Good Sirius, it was tempting to severe that ear straight from his skull right here and now. This gliding stance of cool and conclusive domination was nearly impossible to maintain after his callous attempts at retorts, but a sickly smirk was the only byproduct that Ivypup wasn't able to reign in to invisibility.
Tossing a nod back at camp toward Slate the beloved beau sulking hulk, she added in a husky purr, "If you don't have the tail to show up, I'll spread rumors about you and him, and you know I can do it."
And as nimbly as a rebel shadow dodging the sun, she had evaporated into the trees as a streak of something a bit too elastic to be quite canine.
