My ducks enjoy walking to the mailbox, if I have peas, and chasing their reflections on the side of my car on the way back. Grass clippings or peas in water are a favorite delicacy.

I would be kinda careful with putting bricks and rocks in the pen with your ducks just because my ducks don't really look where they are going and sometimes trip on the bricks around their pool. They never seem to get hurt, but I feel kinda sorry for them.
My ducks do LOVE romaine lettuce! They like to eat it from my fingers and sometimes nibble them. Something I might try is getting a container of live earthworms from a local bait shop and dumping them in a shallow tub of dirt. They will love digging around in it and searching for the worms!!

As far as the brick suggestion - I have one cinder block (called it a brick lol) and one stump for them to perch on. It is not like they are placed all over the run like an obstacle course.
The stump is closer to their house and the cinder block is out in the middle of the run. But, I will change it around in a few weeks - they will be like "ooh what is this new thing?".
Yes, when it comes to caring for our animals we should all be using a little common sense.
I just looked out my window and 2 of the 4 ducks that I have are perched up on the items provided. As well, I watched yesterday as they ran around and none tripped over anything. In fact, they hopped up on the block and jumped back off - so it is being used as intended.

My Runners always keep themselves entertained they are busy little beavers[ducks] My Muscovies are not near as active but do like to play in their water buckets,pool and get up on things that are around at different heights. Right now their main source of enjoyment because 3 are broody is chase they love to chase the chickens and other ducks around. Life here is very amusing and hilarious.

I had Muscovies, and it seems like they are very lazy. Probably its because they don't want to move the rest of their bodies all over the place.LOL. No, probably because it was a hot day that I decided to take them out for a walk. They are really loyal animals, in fact, I had one drake that only liked me and would chase ever one else away from me. I had to tell him that its not just us living in the property.

I do not know who on here told a story that they enjoy a bucket to scream in. We experienced this and agree. They like buckets to scream in. We loved it at 6 o clock at night.
And electricity-outlets.
And other stuff that is dangerous.
